A blessed Sunday to celebrate my first liturgy in the diocese of Eldoret and Northern Kenya as their bishop!

Sunday of the publican and the pharisee. What a blessed Sunday to celebrate my first liturgy in the diocese of Eldoret and Northern Kenya as their bishop at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church Serem.

This is a very good start towards the healing of our church across the board. The road may be bumpy but it will smoothen along the way.

As the bells of the journey for great length have begun to ring, let us embrace humility as we ask the lord’s mercies. Thank you all, God bless you all .

After the Divine Liturgy, I held a meeting with parish council leaders of all the churches in order to advice them on their roles and responsibilities especially during this time of spiritual turbulence in our church. I was able to update them on the current matters in the church for them to understand clearly whwt is going on and whwt is expected of them as leaders in their local churches. The attendance was excellent.
