) για συλλογή ανθρωπιστικης βοήθειας για την Ιαπωνία. Οι πρώτες ανταποκρίσεις ( αγγλικά και ιαπωνικά ) από τις ιστοσελίδες της Ορθόδοξης Ιαπωνικής Εκκλησίας. Μεγάλη ανάγκη για ανθρωπιστική βοήθεια, μέσω της Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας προς τον Ιαπωνικό λαό, ανεξαρτήτου θρησκεύματος. Οι πρώτες εικόνες καταστροφής από ορθόδοξο ναό. Ανανέωση 24 Μαρτίου. Η μικρή Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία της Κορέας συγκεντρώνει στις ενορίες της βοήθεια για την Ιαπωνία και το λαό της. Οι Ορθόδοξοι αδελφοί μας στη Κορέα ( μόλις 3000 Ορθόδοξοι πιστοί σε μια χώρα όπου οι μισοί κάτοικοί της είναι Χριστιανοί διαφόρων αιρέσεων και οι άλλοι μισοί δεν έχουν δεχθεί τον Ιησού Χριστό ΚΑΙ ΕΜΕΙΣ ΟΙ ΟΡΘΟΔΟΞΟΙ ΧΡΙΣΤΙΑΝΟΙ ΑΔΙΑΦΟΡΟΥΜΕ ΓΙΑ ΤΑ ΔΙΣΕΚΑΤΟΜΜΥΡΙΑ ΑΣΙΑΤΩΝ που είναι μακριά από την Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία και τον Χριστό ) δίνουν το παράδειγμα αγάπης και αλληλεγγύης. Παρουσιάζουμε εικόνες από την Κυριακή της Ορθοδοξίας στη Κορέα και το μήνυμα αγάπης του Μητροπολίτη Κορέας Αμβρόσιο . 잘 아시다시피 지금 전 세계의 눈은 지난 3월11일 이웃 나라인 일본에서 일어난 강도 9.0의 지진피해에 집중되어 있습니다. 이번의 강한 지진은 아마도 다시 기록된 적이 없을 정도의 측정할 수 없는 피해를 가져오는 결과를 보이고 있습니다. 불행하게도 이 결과는 아직 계속 진행 중이고, 오랜 시간 일본과 그 주변 지역을 힘들게 할 것입니다.
우리 앞의 이러한 큰 재해에 대해 우리는 무관심과 무반응으로 있어서는 안 됩니다.
먼저, 자비로우시고 관대하신 주님에게 우리의 죄로 인해 더 넓은 지역에 더 큰 재해가 일어나지 않도록 큰 자비를 베풀어주시길 간청합시다.
두 번째로 실제적으로 우리들의 자선의 마음을 큰 난관에 부딪혀있는 우리들의 형제들에게 보여줍시다. 그래서 각 지역성당에서는 부활절까지 모금을 합시다. 모금한 성금을 일본 정교회에 보내어 지진으로 인해 피해를 입은 일본정교회 신자들과 성당 등 필요한 곳에 도움이 되도록 합시다.
이러한 방법으로 사순절 기간에 우리의 금식이 우리 이웃에게 자선을 베푸는 것과 동반되고 하느님에게 더 잘 받아드려지게 될 것입니다.

Mar.22, Kesennuma、Holy Resurrection Chapel is safe!
Yesterday, Fr. Marco Koike visited Kesennuma and confirmed the chapel is safe. There are two Orthodox families in Kesennuma. All of them are safe and living in the shelter, as their houses were damaged. Tsunami reached close to the church but stopped a few meter shorter. Thanks God.

Dear Orthodox family, thanks God, through the prayer of Orthodox family, situation of the suffered places is getting better. We appreciate your e-mails with prayer and thoughtfulness. They were translated and uploaded to Japanese page to encourage brothers and sisters struggling in Tohoku. And we were much grateful to know donation for this disaster had started in many places. Yesterday, we received photos of two church located in the Sanriku Coast, uploaded to the website: http://www.orthodox-jp.com/westjapan/earthquake/201103earthquake_en.html. There were five churches along Sanriku Coast, with deeply indented coastline, suffered by tsunami. We found out that one is destroyed, one is still unknown, but the other three were safe, even though minor repairs seemed necessary. Especially, Holy Ascension Church in Sakari (Ofunato) is quite safe, even though City of Ofunato is one of the worst destructed places. Bishop Seraphim of Sendai said the Diocese made contact with 80% of parishioners living in the coastal area and continue investigation on damage of parishioners, too. IOCC, Orthodox Church in Japan to Provide Aid to Coastal Communities
Baltimore, MD (IOCC) — With financial support from an emergency grant of $25,000 from the National Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society and contributions by private donors, International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) will provide humanitarian assistance such as medicines, food and other essential items to communities in the earthquake and tsunami-damaged Pacific coastal districts of Japan in the prefectures of Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima and Ibaragi. The assistance is being distributed by the Orthodox Church in Japan in cooperation with regional authorities. All of the aid to be distributed is expected to be obtained locally in Japan.
Initial efforts by IOCC and the Orthodox Church in Japan will focus on an estimated 10,000 to 15,000 people who have been displaced from coastal communities by the earthquake and tsunami. The Church is also working to assess the needs of people displaced from the cities of Ishinomaki, Yamada and Kesennuma that remain largely inaccessible because of the damage and lack of fuel.
As the search and rescue operations wind down and recovery efforts begin, the full extent of the needs in coastal communities of East Japan are beginning to emerge.
«It is definitely true that the suffering and hardship of the victims in these ruined areas is indescribably serious and severe now,» wrote Fr. Demitrios Tanaka of the Orthodox Church in Japan. «But the aftershocks of this complex disaster will remain upon us for a long time. We anticipate that the really critical situation will turn up two or three months from now.»
The Orthodox Church in Japan anticipates that additional assistance will also be required to aid people threatened by the crisis at the Fukushima nuclear power plant.
As the Orthodox Church in Japan focused its efforts on providing assistance to people in need, it also found reason to give thanks. An Orthodox priest previously reported missing in Tohoku, Japan was found alive and safe with his wife. All of the Orthodox clergy from the East Japan Diocese of the Orthodox Church have now been accounted for and are safe.
IOCC is the official humanitarian aid agency of the Standing Conference of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas (SCOBA) and a member of the ACT Alliance, a global coalition of churches and agencies engaged in development, humanitarian assistance and advocacy.

As you read magnitude 9 earthquake attacked the northeastern part of Japan. And 30 feet tsunami swept through the east coastal areas in Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima Prefecture. In addition to that, serious trouble happened in the nuclear station in Fukushima.
We received many emails with love and prayers and inquiries from brothers and sisters throughout the world.For the time being, the websites of the Orthodox Church in Japan and the Eastern Japan Diocese are still under difficulties to upload new information. On behalf of them, Western Japan Diocese website provides current news available.

Second message by Bishop Seraphim and report on the state of church
Since the disaster happened, we are so grateful to many letters and emails from in and out of Japan. Although communucation is still short, we have been collecting information using various tools. Little by little, we could see the situation of churh and parish members.
Herewith I inform what we know on the parish and church suffered:
1. Ishinomaki parish, St. John the Theologian Church
Since the earthquake happened, we had had no contact with Fr. Vasilli Taguchi. This morning, we confirmed he and Matushka Maria are alive. The church building and priest’s residence was flooded but stands firmly.
Lay leader, Petr Sasaki Ken-ichi is walking around the city and visiting members.
Komi Tsutomu, demised. Memory eternal.
2.Wakuya parish, Prophet Isiah Chapel
The church building is safe. Lay leader, Boris Yamada is alive. Still under investigation for the other members.
3.Joghe-dzutusmi parish, Holy Protection of Theotokos chapel
Lay leader, Nikon Asano kiichi and family are safe at home. The church building probably survived.
4.Sakari parish in Ofunato, Ascention Church
Church buildingis survived. The members are alive, except one family. Continuing invetigation for this family.
5.Sanuma parish and Transfiguration chapel, Takashimizu parish and Transfiguration chapel
Communication facility is not recovered. But those areas are far from the coast, probably safe.
6. Yamada parish and Holy Anunciation Chapel
Church building was destroyed and burnt out. We could contact with some members. We continue investigation.
7. Kesennuma parish and Holy Resurrection Chapel
Unknown. (Kesennuma was most seriously destroyed by tsunami.)
We continue to pray the other members be safe.

Sendai church got contact with Fr. Vasilli and Matushka Maria. The St. John church building survived, too. The first floor ofthe temple and meeting hall were flooded. But second floor is usable. Lay leader is walking around the town and visiting members.

Through the person finder site, we could know some parishioners are alive and staying at a shelter. But still no information about Fr. Vasillii Taguchi Michio and Matushka Maria. He has been Dean of Ishinomaki parish and in these months convalesced at home near coast.

Eastern Japan Diocese
Thanks God, Bishop Seraphim, Fr. Clement Kodama, Fr. Vasilii Kato are fine. The Holy Annunciation Cathedral in Sendai and Diocese office buildings were not seriously damaged.
Holy Ascention church in Ichinoseki, Elevation of Cross Church in Morioka are safe, too, even though small damages were found.
We have made contact with Fr. Michail in Morioka and Fr.Mark in Ichinoseki.
However, the church located on the Sanriku coast were supposed to be destroyed; Annunciation Church in Yamada, Holy Resurrection Church in Kesennuma, Holy Protection Church in Joghe-dzutusmi and St. John the Theologian church in Ishinomaki. The Diocese has not yet contacted with the parishioners of those church. 300 members are registered in the coastal area.
In addition to them, there are no information from three church and parish located further from the coast; Holy Transfiguration Chapel in Sanuma, Transfiguration Church in Takashimizu and Prophet Isaiah Church in Wakuya, in total, 80 members are registered.
Communication and electric sytems are seriously destroyed. Telephone, cell phone or internet are still in limited use. Roads and railways were cut off and, gas stations do not work. There are very few ways to contact with parishioners.
We have been searching missing people on google and picasa websites and found some members are alive
This afternoon, we received happy news, that the Ascention Church in Sakari exists and many of the parishioners are alive, too.
Tokyo and Kanto Area
In Tokyo, Met. Daniel, clergies, seminary students and office staffs were safe. The Cathedral and other buildings had small damage; window glass broken or cracks on the wall. We have not got any report any members seriously damaged.
The other churches in Kanato area and parishioners supposed not damaged, either.

Αγαπητοί εν Χριστώ αδελφοί,
Δεν βρίσκω λόγια να εκφράσω την οδύνη τον πόνο και την αγωνία για τα όσα συμβαίνουν στην Ιαπωνία. Την πιο όμορφη χώρα του κόσμου -κατ’ εμέ-, που τώρα κινδυνεύει να γίνει τόπος ζωντανών-νεκρών από τη ραδιενέργεια.
Ίσως είναι τραγικά συμβολικό, που συνέβη τώρα, την εποχή που ανθίζουν οι κερασιές, το σύμβολο της Ιαπωνίας. Μαζεύονται το βράδυ, κάθονται κάτω από τις κερασιές, που είναι παντού, στα πάρκα κυρίως, και βλέπουν τα υπέροχα άνθη να πέφτουν λουσμένα από το φως του φεγγαριού.
Για τους Ιάπωνες είναι η πιο βαθιά εικόνα της ομορφιάς της ζωής και του θανάτου, ναι του θανάτου, του εφήμερου της ζωής που σβήνει σαν τα άνθη της κερασιάς.
Υπάρχουν τόσα υπέροχα χαϊκού, ποιήματα με 3 στίχους, που είναι πνευματικός στοχασμός. Διαβάστε ένα:

Θ’ ασκείται η άνοιξη
για το χειμώνα…
Δυστυχώς, μάλλον πρόκειται για τον πυρηνικό χειμώνα. Και τώρα… Ο θάνατος έρχεται, αργά και σταθερά.
Η ομορφιά που κρύβει τον θάνατο, τον κάνει να μην φαίνεται, και αυτό που είναι το χαρακτηριστικό του ιαπωνικού πολιτισμού, τώρα πια δεν μπορεί να ενεργήσει. Τα άνθη της κερασιάς είναι μολυσμένα από τη ραδιενέργεια.
Είναι χαρακτηριστική η γαλήνια και πειθαρχημένη αντιμετώπιση από τον ιαπωνικό λαό.
Εδώ στην Ταϊβάν, δέος και φόβος. Ο κόσμος φοβάται να βγει στον δρόμο, φοβάται την έκθεση στο ραδιενεργό νέφος. Ζούμε την εποχή του Τσερνομπίλ. Πολλοί θωρούν ότι έρχεται το τέλος του κόσμου (υποσυνείδητα το εύχονται) και η τηλεόραση δείχνει συνεχώς τις εφιαλτικές εικόνες από το τσουνάμι και τους καπνούς από τις εκρήξεις στους αντιδραστήρες.
Είναι όμως πολύ σημαντικό το ότι παντού, σε όλα σχεδόν τα τηλεοπτικά κανάλια, τις εφημερίδες και το ιντερνέτ, μεταδίδεται συχνά ένα μήνυμα: PRAY FOR JAPAN – ΠΡΟΣΕΥΧΗΘΕΙΤΕ ΓΙΑ ΤΗΝ ΙΑΠΩΝΙΑ.
Στο facebook κυκλοφορούν ειδικά σήματα που μπορείς να τα επικολλήσεις στην φωτογραφία που έχεις για προμετωπίδα, καλώντας για προσευχή. Αυτό είναι το δικό μας:
Σε εκκλησίες και ναούς κάθε είδους, βουδιστικούς, ειδώλων κ.τ.λ., όλοι προσεύχονται. Θα είδατε ίσως ότι κι εμείς προσευχηθήκαμε την Κυριακή στη Θεία Λειτουργία.
Με εκπλήσσει πολύ το ότι κανείς δεν διαμαρτύρεται που η τηλεόραση καλεί τον κόσμο να προσευχηθεί. Όλοι σέβονται, ακόμα και οι άθεοι, τις δύσκολες αυτές ώρες την πίστη και την ανθρώπινη ανάγκη για πίστη.
Υπάρχει βέβαια το τεράστιο ερώτημα ΓΙΑΤΙ, όμως οι Ασιάτες το παραμερίζουν και ασχολούνται περισσότερο με το τώρα, με το τί πρέπει να κάνουμε, πώς να βοηθήσουμε.
Υπάρχει αγωνία στην Ταϊβάν, διότι έχουμε 3 σταθμούς ατομικής ενέργειας, και η περιοχή είναι σεισμογενής όπως και η Ιαπωνία. Υπάρχει φημολογία ότι οποιαδήποτε στιγμή μπορεί να συμβεί παρόμοιος σεισμός και εδώ, άλλωστε στην περιοχή είχαμε πριν ένα μήνα την Ν. Ζηλανδία, την Ιαπωνία και μετά τι;;;
Πολλές εφημερίδες γράφουν ότι παρά την πρωτοφανή καταστροφή δεν σημειώθηκε καμιά λεηλασία ή πράξη βίας και παρανομίας (όπως π.χ. στην Αϊτή, στις ΗΠΑ, στην Αίγυπτο κ.τ.λ.), ούτε επικράτησε πανικός. Αντίθετα οι Ιάπωνες περιμένουν με υπομονή και ευγένεια και συνεργάζονται με τις αρχές, δίνοντας ένα μοναδικό παράδειγμα στον κόσμο. Και αυτό διότι έχουν μάθει να βάζουν τον εαυτό τους σε δεύτερη μοίρα από το κοινό καλό, από τους άλλους.
Δεν λέω ότι δεν υπάρχουν κλέφτες στην Ιαπωνία. Και βέβαια υπάρχουν. Αλλά υπάρχει και ένα υψηλό επίπεδο αξιοπρέπειας. Χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα οι πολιτικοί της χώρας. Υπάρχουν πολιτικοί που καταχράστηκαν το δημόσιο χρήμα και αυτοκτόνησαν από τύψεις! Και άλλοι που, επειδή υπήρξε υπόνοια εναντίον τους, παραιτήθηκαν, παίρνοντας την ευθύνη πάνω τους!
Δεν βρίσκω λόγια να παρηγορήσω τους ανθρώπους εδώ, για όσους και όσα έχασαν και κυρίως για το ζοφερό πυρηνικό μέλλον που ίσως έρχεται (άλλωστε λογικά θα πρέπει να υπάρξουν μετασεισμοί 7, 6 κ.τ.λ. ρίχτερ).
Δεν βρίσκω λόγια να απαντήσω στο τεράστιο ΓΙΑΤΙ, που με ρώτησε ένα παιδάκι. Καταλαβαίνω μόνο τη σημασία της πίστης, δηλαδή της εμπιστοσύνης στον Θεό, στο να γαντζωθείς πάνω Του… Αντί να έχεις ελπίδες, να είναι Αυτός η ελπίδα μας, η μόνη σιγουριά που μπορούμε να εμπιστευθούμε.
Δεν είναι μόνο η Ιαπωνία που πάσχει, είναι ο Χριστός που πάσχει στην Ιαπωνία, που υποφέρει από το τσουνάμι, τη ραδιενέργεια, τον θάνατο. Αυτό είπα την Κυριακή: Αυτός τας ασθενείας ημών έλαβεν και τας νόσους εβάστασεν (Ματθ. 8,17).
Αδελφοί μου, η Ιαπωνία μπορεί να μην έχει ανάγκη την υλική σας βοήθεια. Είναι μια χώρα πλούσια γιατί έχει κατοίκους πλούσιους σε αρετές. Στάχτη έγινε στον Β΄ Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο και αναγεννήθηκε με υπομονή και επιμονή και έγινε τεράστια οικονομική δύναμη.
Δεν κλαίω τόσο για την Ιαπωνία, κλαίω όμως για την Ελλάδα που χρεοκόπησε όχι οικονομικά, αλλά ηθικά. Η Ιαπωνία έχει ανάγκη την προσευχή μας, η οποία πρέπει να είναι πολύ θερμή, ώστε η χάρις του Θεού να βοηθήσει, να σταματήσει η καταστροφή, να περάσει το κακό, και κυρίως να γνωρίσουν τον Χριστό οι αδελφοί μας οι Ιάπωνες. Είναι τόσο κοντά Του με τον χαρακτήρα τους, τις αρετές τους και την εργατικότητά τους, λίγη προσευχή ακόμα χρειάζεται, για να τον βρουν.

第2回東日本大震災の現状報告
主の御名によりてご平安をお祈りいたします。
大地震発生以来、国の内外から多大なるお見舞が寄せられております。皆様方に衷心より感謝
申し上げます。これまで多くの神父様達のご協力により、乏しい情報の中、様々な手立てで被災
の状況を調査しております。地震発生から日が経つにつれて少しずつではありますが、教区内の
各地の被災状況が次第に判明して参りました。
これまで連絡が途絶えており、第1回目の報告ではお知らせできなかった教会について判明し
たことは以下の通りです。
（1）石巻正教会
・地震発生以来、連絡が途絶えていた石巻のワシリイ田口神父様と奥様の無事を確認。聖堂と
司祭館は今現在も水につかっているものの、倒壊の危険性は無し。
・ペトル佐々木憲一執事長が信徒の安否確認を継続中。
・香味勉兄の死亡を確認。（次男、尚之兄からの連絡による）
（2）涌谷正教会
・会堂建物は無事。ボリス山村雄執事長の無事を確認。（三女からの連絡による）信徒の安否を
調査中。
（3）上下堤正教会
・ニーコン浅野喜一執事長ご一家は無事、自宅で避難。上記香味勉兄のご遺骨が安置されてい
る。（次男、尚之兄からの連絡による）
・会堂は倒壊を免れている模様。
（4）盛正教会
・会堂建物は無事。信徒は一家族が現在も安否不明。
（5）佐沼正教会、高清水正教会
・今現在、両教会との連絡が途絶えているが、これは通信網の分断によると思われる。内陸部
の教会であり、津波被害は無し。
（6）山田正教会
・会堂は破壊、焼失。信徒の安否は生存者を多数確認。全信徒の安否を確認中。
（7）気仙沼正教会
・今現在、連絡不能。
以上、判明したことをお知らせいたします。未だ安否不明の方々がご無事でありますよう皆様
方のお祈りをお願いいたします。

東北地方太平洋沖地震に関して
† 主の御名によりて、ご平安をお祈りします。
はじめに、去る3 月11 日に発生した東北地方太平洋沖地震（ 東北関東
大震災） で永眠された方々の霊の安息をお祈り申し上ると共に、罹災さ
れた方々へのお見舞いを申し上げます。
当該大震災が、東北地方沿海部を中心に甚大なる被害をもたらしたこ
とはご承知の通りです。当該地方にある当教団各教会にあっても多くの
被害を受けたものと思われます。石巻正教会管轄の長司祭ワシリイ田口
三千男師については、現時点でも安否確認が出来ていません。仙台の主
教セラフィム座下書簡（ 別紙）にありますように、セラフィム座下を中
心として東北地方各司祭が各信徒の安否確認を含めた現状把握に最大限
の努力をしています。
日本ハリストス正教会教団として「東北地方太平洋沖地震義援金」募
集を決め、口座設定等実施に向けた作業を事務方に指示しました。別途、
宗務総局事務局から義援金案内を送付しますので、ご配慮下さい。

東日本大震災の現状報告
主の御名によりてご平安をお祈りいたします。
すでに各報道により、3月11日 三陸沖を震源とする大地震による被害の惨状をご存知のことと思います。この度の大地震は未曾有の被害をもたらし、東日本主教教区の教会にも人的・建造物に も甚大な被害をもたらしました。しかし、その詳細な被害状況の把握は、現時点では出来ておりません。特に大津波に襲われた沿岸部は、通信網と道路が寸断さ れたこと、またあらゆる交通手段の途絶により、未だ連絡が取れない状況です。また、燃料等の問題もあり、被災地を管轄する神父達の移動もままなりません。
昨日 あたりから避難所に逃れることが出来た方々の名簿がインターネット上で公開され始めており、その名簿を頼りに各教会信徒の安否確認をしております。仙台正 教会、前盛岡管轄司祭のステファン内田神父様、またゲオルギイ松島神父様を中心とする西日本主教教区の神父様達が各教会の信徒名簿を参考に確認作業のご協 力をいただいております。
下記の教会は管轄神父の報告により、多少の被害は認められるものの人的被害が比較的軽微な教会です。
北鹿正教会、盛岡正教会、岩谷堂正教会、遠野正教会、一関正教会、金成正教会、
十文字正教会、仙台正教会、中新田正教会、福島正教会、白河正教会
上記以外の教会の状況は全く不明ですが、可能な限り情報を得て把握して行く所存です。
尚、国内外を問わず被災救援の申し出が仙台地区の通信網の回復と共に多く寄せられておりますが、まだ復旧・復興という段階には至っておりません。
救援募金や救援物資等の対応につきましては、教団宗務総局に依頼しましたので、改めて皆様方へご連絡があると思います。
各教会におかれましてはこの現状報告を管轄内信徒各位にお知らせ下さるようお願いいたします。
